WHAT IS A FANZINE OR ZINE?
A fanzine or zine is a collection of works created by fans revolving around a certain theme or fandom. It's usually produced as a book (sometimes with accompanying merchandise) or a digital PDF.WHAT IS THIS ZINE ABOUT?
Harmony is a fanzine centered around Min Yoongi. We want to celebrate Yoongi in all the ways possible! Harmony will feature content focusing on Yoongi’s life on-stage and off-stage.IS THIS ZINE FOR-PROFIT?
This zine will be for-profit. The profits will all be pooled together and divided amongst contributors who have the option of receiving their shares or donating it to charity. Contributors who are under 18 by the time of pay-out will automatically have to forfeit their shares to charity for legal reasons. All donated shares will be given to an organization decided on by the mods and contributors.DO THE MODS HAVE EXPERIENCE RUNNING ZINES?

No, there will not be any romantic works or ships in the main zine! We will only be hosting gen content. However, if enough contributors are interested in participating, there will be a digital ship zine they can contribute to as well!HOW MANY CONTRIBUTORS WILL BE WORKING ON THE ZINE?
There will be a total of 44 contributors! 33 page artists (17 are guests and 16 will be selected through applications), 6 writers (3 guest writers + 3 accepted writers), and 5 merch artists (2-3 guest merch artists + 2-3 accepted merch artists).WHAT ARE THE ZINE SPECS?
Our zine will be perfect bound, sized 5.5" x 8.5" with various merch options! Templates will be provided!WILL THIS ZINE FEATURE GUEST CONTRIBUTORS?
Yes! Half our zine's contributors will be guest contributors, while the other half will be selected through applications.ARE MINORS ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE?
Yes, just as long as you are 16 years of age or older, you can apply! However, when the zine is ready to pay out its shares, we legally cannot pay minors for their services, even with parental permission, so these shares will automatically be donated to charity. Please keep this in mind when you're applying!DO I NEED TO CREATE NEW ART FOR THE APPLICATION?
Not at all! You're more than welcome to if you wish, but most of the time, applicants will apply with art that they've already done! If accepted, this is where you'll be required to make something new!CAN WE USE OLD ARTWORK AS OUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE ZINE?
Unfortunately, no. All pieces should be new, original works specifically created for the zine.WHAT WOULD THE WRITERS WRITE ABOUT IF THE ZINE IS NON-ROMANTIC IN NATURE?
Writers can focus on a variety of things! Some examples can include a story of Yoongi's day off, maybe spending time with his fellow members when they're off-schedule. Or perhaps a story of Yoongi feeling nervous before a notable performance or interview and how he tries to unwind! Maybe a story about him practicing the choreography for his Seesaw performance. There are a lot of options and possibilities! If accepted and you're still concerned with what to write, our writer mod, the incredible Dianna (@polyjoon) will be more than happy to help you out!ONCE THE ZINE IS FINISHED, WILL I STILL HAVE THE RIGHTS TO MY WORK?
Yes! Once the mods give you the green light, you're more than welcome to do what you like with your work! We ask that while the zine is still actively going through creation periods, preorders, leftover sales, etc., that you do not share, post, or sell your work until the mods have given you the go ahead to do so! But you will retain all rights to your work upon the zine's completion and the zine will not retain its rights to distribute your work.DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN PRODUCING MERCH TO APPLY AS A MERCH ARTIST?
It's not a requirement for you to have made physical merch before! The mods will be the ones handling the actual merch production, so we can work with you to make sure your design is following the required specifications if you're assigned to a merch artist slot. For applications, we'll only be judging your art itself!DO I NEED TO SUPPLY THE MERCH MYSELF IF I AM ACCEPTED AS A MERCH ARTIST?
No! The mods have already begun deciding on manufacturers to use since we have already begun running finances. You do not need to supply the merch––the mods will give you the specs to work under and we will handle all purchasing and manufacturing for the items.CAN I APPLY FOR MULTIPLE ROLES? LIKE A MIX OF ARTIST, MERCH ARTIST, OR WRITER?
Yes, you're more than welcome to apply for any spot on the zine you'd like! However, we will only accept you for one.HOW WILL CONTRIBUTORS AND MODS COMMUNICATE?
There will be major updates in the form of emails, but we will heavily be relying on Discord for most of our communication. It's a requirement that you have an account to participate in the zine. While you're not required to engage in conversation or partake in any social interactions within the server, we still require you to join it so you can keep up with our announcements and updates!WILL CONTRIBUTORS RECEIVE A FREE COPY OF THE ZINE?
All contributors will receive the digital zine for free! Although, our goal is to sell enough of the zine to compensate all contributors with full bundles as thanks for contributing their time and efforts. This is just dependent on sales.
